The Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta has committed his future to Barcelona by signing a new three-year contract.
Iniesta's previous deal at the Nou Camp was set to expire in 18 months' time, although Barcelona were always keen to hold on to the Spain international.
Iniesta is now confirmed through to 2018.
Iniesta has made 479 appearances for the Catalan club, who he joined from Albacete as a 12-year-old in 1996 and has won the Champions League three times and the La Liga title on six occasions.
He has also won the European Championship trophy with Spain twice and scored the extra-time winner in the 2010 World Cup final against Holland in South Africa.
