Invercargill man charged with manslaughter over death of 78-year-old

A 44-year-old Invercargill man is facing a charge of manslaughter, police say.

The charge relates to an altercation with a 78-year-old man in the car park of a hotel on 28 January.

The older man died four days later.

The accused man is due to appear in Invercargill District Court on 23 March.
