The family of a man killed at an Affco meat plant in Wairoa last week want to know if he was crushed to death or froze to death after his body was left undiscovered for at least five hours. Worksafe NZ has launched an investigation after 61-year-old Alfred "Baldy" Edwards, who had worked on and off at the Affco plant for 40 years, died some time on Wednesday February 5th.
