A convicted rapist known as the 'Beast of Blenheim' has again been denied parole.
The Parole Board says Stewart Murray Wilson is still an undue risk to the community, after considering whether to release him on Wednesday.
The board has not yet given its full reasons for not letting Wilson out of Whanganui Prison. He is serving 21 years for sexual offending after being recalled to prison for a breach of parole.
Wilson was released on parole in September 2012, but recalled to prison in April last year for breaching some of this conditions.
Until then he served 16 years for multiple rapes of women, assault, drugging, ill-treating children and bestiality.
He repeatedly appealed against the recall, but these were tossed out by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
Wilson will be considered for parole again in October this year and will face trial in November on charges relating to the breach of parole.
