The Canterbury Bulldogs have come from behind twice to beat South Sydney 28-19, scoring five tries to three in a round two National Rugby League match in Sydney.

The Rabbitohs looked in control for for most of the first half but lost their 8-0 lead by conceding two converted tries just before the break.

However they regained the lead with back-to-back tries early in the second spell and were ahead 19-18 with 10 minutes to go.

They had to finish the match a man down though when Rhys Wesser was sin-binned for a professional foul after he made a try-saving tackle.

The Bulldogs then made sure of their second win with a try to teenager Tim Lafai on debut and a late four pointer to skipper Andrew Ryan.
