The latest Taxpayers' Union Curia Poll has Labour inching up about a point to 42.3 percent and National gaining 5.4 points to 38.4 percent since last month's poll results.

This poll was taken from 1-10 February, only covering the first few days of the anti-mandate convoy and protest.

The Greens and the ACT Party both took a hit; with the Greens down 4.4 points to 6.3 percent and ACT dropping nearly 4.9 points to 6.6 percent.

The Māori Party and New Zealand First both crept up slightly, sitting on 1 percent and 1.5 percent respectively.

Based on the results, Labour would have would have 54 seats, ACT and the Greens eight each, the Māori Party one seat and National 49.

In the preferred prime minister ratings, Jacinda Ardern was up 1.4 points to 38.9 percent.

The bigger moves were for National Party leader Christopher Luxon - up 10 points to 28.5 percent, alongside a six point drop for ACT's David Seymour, down to 2.4 percent.

The poll surveyed 1000 people, and had a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent.
