Community concern still runs deep in Papua New Guinea over potential impacts of seabed mining.

Canadian company Nautilus Minerals has been planning to mine in the Bismarck Sea from 2018 as part of its Solwara 1 project.

Set to be the world's first seabed mining project, Solwara 1 has been planned since 2009, with government buying a 15 percent stake in it.

But as Johnny Blades reports, the project operators have been accused of a lack of transparency.
