State Highway One, south of Foxton in Horowhenua, is open again after a fatal crash this afternoon.
A 59-year old woman died at the scene when her motorcycle crossed the centre line and hit another car.
The police say the main road is open, but drivers should expect delays as there is a back log of traffic.
