Pulse coach Yvette McCausland-Durie says Gordon has worked incredibly hard to get back on court.

"She's been able to add speed and spark which is really her point of difference," Yvette McCausland-Durie said.

Gordon has played a limited role in two games in her recovery so far.

"Part of the rehab process was about how she could get herself back in a position physically and avoid going to surgery."

"She's had no pain."

"There's obviously been moments when it's been really challenging and frustrating to wait to get back out there, but I think she's done a really good job."

Replacement player Erikana Pedersen is staying with the Pulse for the entire ANZ netball premiership season as Gordon's return to play continues to be managed carefully.

The Pulse have a heavy schedule this week with two games against the Stars due to a catch-up fixture for a postponement from round one.

The first game is on Wednesday night in Auckland, with the second in Palmerston North on Sunday afternoon.
