There has been a slow and late start to the national election in the Marshall Islands today.
Some candidates have called the process chaos and a mess as many people in Majuro were unable to cast their votes to elect a new parliament when polls were due to open.
Giff Johnson reports.
"The polling stations are supposed to open at 7 am; the first one opened just before eight but even by 12 noon not even half of the approximately 60 stations were open and I've got say it's just a lack of organisation and incompetence."
