The Shocking Pinks: After an extensive tour through the UK, China, Europe, Australia and the US, The Shocking Pinks are back home for a stack of shows beginning this Friday in Wellington. Playing off the back of the re-release of Dance The Dance Electric, the band have plenty more dates lined up over the next month as well. Find details for everything over on Facebook.

Our:House: Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Duke Dumont and Galantis are all in the country this week for the 2015 Our:House festival. They’ll be taking over Mount Smart Stadium this Friday for the sold-out event, which will be followed by a block party in the CBD after everything’s done. Diplo is also playing a sideshow tonight at St James Theatre, but, as expected, tickets are sold out for that too.

Moon Duo: Formed in San Francisco back in 2009, psych-rock outfit Moon Duo are back in New Zealand as part of a brief two-date tour in support of their new album Shadow Of The Sun. The two-piece act, who are made up of Sanae Yamada and Wooden Shijps guitarist Ripley Johnson, played in Wellington last night and close things out tonight at Whammy Bar in Auckland. Tickets are available through Under The Radar.

Muzai Annual: Independent label Muzai Records, who are now based out of the UK, are throwing their annual showcase again this Saturday at Whammy and Wine Cellar. Among others, the line-up includes, Girls Pissing On Girls Pissing, The All Seeing Hand, She’s So Rad and Westley Holdsworth. Get in quick for $10 presales.

Yoko-Zuna: Fresh off of our Introducing column, Auckland electro/hip-hop outfit Yoko-Zuna are heading to the capital to play a show this Saturday at Bodega. They’ll be joined by Wellington MC stable The No Problemos, as well as Paddy Fred, Totems and K-Saba. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $10 on the door.

Elam Grad Show: Seen as a “glimpse into the future direction of contemporary art”, the Elam Grad Show takes place this weekend at the School of Fine Arts studios in Auckland. It’s on from 10am – 4pm all weekend. Entry is free.

Shellac: Chicago math-rock legends Shellac are in New Zealand for a five-date run of shows, beginning this Sunday with back-to-back gigs at Chick’s Hotel. The trio, made up of Steve Albini, Bob Weston and Todd Trainer, also have dates lined up in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington over the following week.
