The diesel-electric submarine HMAS Dechaineux will take part in exercises with New Zealand and other naval vessels before the International Naval Review starts later this month.
Ships from 13 countries - including China, Indonesia and South Korea - will arrive between today and Saturday, and anchor off Rangitoto Island.
