The two people who died in a crash on the Riverton-Wallacetown highway in Southland on Monday have been named.

They were Kareen Marie Malcolm and James Lennon Malcolm, both of Invercargill and both aged 61.
James died at the scene and Kareen later in Dunedin Hospital.
A month ago, another man died after a crash on the same stretch of road.
Both collisions involved milk tankers.
Police are still investigating the latest crash.
