A man has died in a two-car rush-hour crash in Auckland.
The accident happened about 6am at the intersection of Whitford-Maraetai Rd and Waikopua Rd in Maraetai, and emergency services are at the scene.
Police said Whitford-Maraetai Road would be closed either side of that intersection.
However, they said traffic from Henson Rd would still be able to use Whitford-Maraetai Road.
The deceased was believed to be a male, but no further details were available.
