The Saipan casino in the Northern Marianas is expected to open six luxury suites next month.
Imperial Pacific International said it plans to finally open six of the 15 suites at its multi-million-dollar Imperial Palace development by the end of September.
The Hong Kong-based company has been hounded by a lack of workers and work on the 250-room main hotel tower has slowed, with focus turning to completion of the Beach Villa Resort first.
Imperial Pacific hopes to complete the main hotel by the end of June 2020.
Currently 586 people are employed on the project with the company hiring Italian construction workers to fill shortages.
The company is also looking at hiring laborers from Thailand and Mongolia.
