Judges at an international war crimes tribunal at the Hague have convicted seven Bosnian Serbs for their parts in the Srebrenica massacre in 1995.
More than 7000 men and boys were murdered there, while sheltering in a United Nations safe zone during the Bosnian civil war. It was the worst massacre of the Bosnian war.
Two of the accused were sentenced them to life in prison. Five others were sentenced to five - 35 years in prison. All were former high-ranking military and police officials.
The BBC reports the case is the largest yet at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
