The Gisborne region has had its second earthquake in three days measuring at least magnitude 4.0.
A magnitude-4.0 quake was recorded at 7.45am on Monday, 10km north of Te Karaka at a depth of 30km.
A magnitude-4.4 earthquake was recorded in the same area at 12.22pm on Saturday at the same depth.
