Police are investigating the death of a two-year-old girl who was found unresponsive in a car in Hamilton.
Officers were flagged down in Heaphy Terrace about 11am on Saturday by the occupants of a vehicle who requested assistance with the girl.

She was taken to hospital where she died that evening.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
A scene examination has been completed at the child's home address and a post-mortem will be done today.
Police said they were speaking with a number of people in relation to the death.
