A man will appear in the Auckland District Court on Wednesday morning in connection with an attack on a Chinese woman in her home in Mount Roskill.
Police say the woman, 46, was found unconscious on the floor of her bedroom on Monday by her daughter. She is in Auckland Hospital in a stable but critical condition.
A man, 21, has been arrested and charged with with assault and cultivating cannabis.
