If you're in Auckland you might be reading this as you wait for a bus that's not going to show up.
Up to 700 trips have been cancelled on Monday morning as drivers strike over pay.
Drivers employed by bus operator NZ Bus are striking this morning, and they'll do the same for the next three days if the company doesn't agree to the extra two dollars an hour they're asking for.
Auckland Transport public transport services general manager Stacey van der Putten spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
