Residents association formed in Grey Lynn

10:14 am on 13 September 2012

People in Grey Lynn in Auckland have formed a residents association to ensure the future urban design of the suburb.

The meeting followed the removal of an historic villa to make way for another building and the demolition of the Bethany Centre, which used to be a Salvation Army home for pregnant women.

Suzanne Kendrick of the Grey Lynn 2030 trust said it was a chance to discuss what's best for the community.
