Police on the West Coast have temporarily suspended the search for a man missing after a jetboat overturned last week.
A police spokesperson says the search has been suspended for today due to adverse weather conditions in the area.
Both the dive squad and police search and rescue ground crews have been stood down for the day.
The man has been missing since the jetboat overturned on the Taramakau River, south of Greymouth, on Friday afternoon.
Another person who was on board the boat was rescued and treated at the scene by ambulance staff.
