Air France plans cuts on Tahiti route

Reports from French Polynesia say Air France plans to cut the number of seats on the service from Paris to Tahiti.

RFO radio reports that from October the carrier is to reduce its allocation by 12,000 a year.

The report says this follows a decision in Paris to use Airbus planes which are smaller than the Boeing 747 aircraft currently being used for the long-haul flights.
