The Australian cyclist Jack Anderson leads the Tour of Wellington heading into today's 133 kilometre second stage from Featherston to Masterton.
Anderson's team, Budget Forklifts, posted the fastest time of 9 minutes 38 seconds in the 8.8 kilometre team time trial yesterday at Lower Hutt's Avalon circuit.
The leading New Zealand team Subway-Avanti, which includes Eric Drower and Gordon McCauley, was second one second off the pace.
