Police said the alleged robbery was at Julian's Berry Farm and Cafe in Huna Road about 1.30pm.

Two people were hit by pellets after a firearm was reportedly discharged towards the floor.

The cafe posted on Facebook the shop would reopen tomorrow.

"There were a few people with minor injuries after a shot was fired. But we are all OK.

"Shop closed for the rest of the day ... there is a bullet hole in the floor of the cafe."

A St John spokesperson said they were called to the area and have treated two people for minor injuries.
