A 23-year old has appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court charged with murder of a man in Lower Hutt.
Labourer Joseph Falefiaisinga Rota is charged with the murder of Huri Edward King-Mosen on 28 October or 29 October.
Mr King-Mosen, who was 24, was found dead by the owner of the Puriri Street home he lived in.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
Mr Rota has been remanded in custody to appear in the High Court at Wellington on 21 November.
