Papua New Guinea has reported 10 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours increasing the country's total cases to 833.
A total of nine cases were reported in West New Britain whilst New Ireland province reported one positive.
In Talasea district in West New Britain, five women and four men, ages ranging between 19 to 53 have been tested positive.
All nine cases did not show symptoms of Covid-19 but swab samples returned positive.
In New Ireland province, a 51 year-old male who lives in Lihir, Namatanai district is the latest to be confirmed positive.
The 51 year-old was not showing symptoms of Covid-19 at the time of testing but results from swab samples returned positive.
Nine people have died from Covid-19 in PNG.
Sixteen provinces including the Autonomous Region Of Bougainville have reported cases.
