Violence in Papua in reaction to 'racist attack' in Surabaya

Thousands of Indonesian soldiers have been deployed to the province of Papua as violent riots resulted in a parliament building being set on fire.

Papuans are reacting to what they called a 'racist attack' on Papuan students in Surabaya, and they say the President's reaction to cut internet to Papua has only stoked tensions.
