Papua New Guinea's Highlands Highway has been temporarily closed after a truck capsized earlier this week.
The impasse affected busy traffic on the country's main road link between Goroka and Kundiawa near Daulo Pass.
Hundreds of trucks carrying supplies for upper Highlands provinces were left stranded in Goroka waiting for the road to be cleared.
Passengers on buses have been able to reach the capsized truck and connect with buses on the other side for their onwards journey.
Locals have been charging ten kina for every passenger crossing over.
It is expected that the road will be cleared later today.
To add to the troubles, another truck got stuck in the Daulo Pass area after rain caused a small landslide to create another blockage.
