A 75-year-old man has died following a crash in the Hutt Valley.

The man was critically injured in the two-vehicle crash on Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt, at 5.35pm, and later died.
Road closures remain in place, including on State Highway 2, while police work at the crash scene.
Motorists are being asked to follow diversions that have been set up.
Earlier, a motorcyclist died on State Highway 2 River Road, after a crash abut 1pm.
