Graeme Swann was next to go for six to Ryan Harris, quickly followed by Matt Prior for 69 another catch off Peter Siddle.
Monty Panesar didn't last long after that, the spinner's wicket the last to fall for a duck as the Australians needed only 11 overs and four balls to wrap up the crushing victory.
The crushing defeat means England will head to Perth in major trouble for the third test, which starts on Friday.
The Australian selectors have named the same XII for Perth as for Adelaide, though fast bowlers Nathan Coulter-Nile and Doug Bollinger will be on standby as injury cover and will train with the squad in case they are required.
