NZ lose Davis Cup final

New Zealand's been beaten 3-2 in the Davis Cup Asia Oceania group 2 final in New Plymouth after China won both reverse singles matches.

The New Zealand number one Dan King -Turner lost to his Chinese counterpart Yan Bai in straight sets to square the tie after China stayed alive yesterday by winning the doubles.

In the deciding match GD Jones -- in for an injured Rubin Statham --- came from behind to level 2 sets all but Peng Sun won the fifth 6-3 to send China up to group one next year.
