The Central Bank of Solomon Islands is warning people not to invest in a new pyramid scheme called One Link Pacifica.
The bank's financial intelligence unit said it had investigated the business and concluded that it had all of the operational elements of a pyramid scheme.
It said the scheme's members made money solely by getting new people to invest.
The bank warned that anyone taking part in such a scheme would eventually lose out when its pyramid structure collapsed.
It is urging people not to put any money into One Link Pacifica or any other get-rich-quick-schemes.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the Central Bank's financial intelligence unit.
