Fiji's University of the South Pacific says it will review a process that resulted in thousands of students locked out of the university system days away from exams.
About 8,000 students who had not paid their fees were given warnings all semester and finally a threat to de-register them came last week on Friday, giving them a final deadline for Monday morning.
A Fiji opposition MP has called for the Vice-Chancellor's resignation saying it was cruel and badly timed.
