She appeared in the Hamilton District Court this morning.

Ms Fox was breath tested in Hamilton in November and recorded a breath test of 593-microgrammes of alcohol per litre of breath.

It was more than twice the legal limit of 250-microgrammes.

A conviction wasn't entered because Ms Fox intends to apply for a discharge without conviction at her next court appearance in February, when she will be sentenced.
