The date for the Solomon Islands is to be announced next month.
The Solomon Islands Electoral Commission says the official proclamation of the date will be made by the Governor General early in February.
The chief electoral officer Mose Saitala told Koroi Hawkins more than 359 thousand people have been registered to vote this year.
