Parker dominated the opening two rounds and shook the Avondale born Meehan with an impressive combination one minute into the third round before finishing the contest with powerful overhand right.

Meehan struggled to get up off the canvas with referee Ferlin Marsh signalling the TKO late into the 10 count.

Victory handed Parker, 23, the WBC's Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council's heavyweight belt and the WBA's Oceania title to add to his collection.

Parker is ranked No 6 with the WBO, No 13 with the WBA and No 14 with the WBC.

He next fights in the feature bout on the Fight For Life promotion card in Hamilton on 5 December.
