The sights, sounds and flavors of the Pacific will be celebrated this Saturday in New Zealand's capital.
The theme for this year's Wellington Pasifika Festival is 'Homeland' and thousands of people are expected to attend the family-friendly event.
It's all about diversity, celebrating the unique cultures of Pacific communities in Aotearoa.
There will be cultural performances and a chance to taste local delicacies.
The free event kicks off at midday tomorrow at Waitangi Park in Wellington.
"The festival will open with a blessing followed by stage performances from various Pacific Island groups," according to the Wellington City Council.
"There will be food stalls, corporate, craft, and sponsor stalls, a Kids Zone, MAI FM on-site activities, and the popular Pasifika Cuisine Cook-Off competition with food stalls submitting their best dish for judging by a celebrity panel."
The official programme can be found here.
