Seven people have appeared in court on drugs, firearms and money-laundering charges after raids on Head Hunters properties today.
The raids, across more than 30 properties in Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty, led to the arrest of 10 people, including three Mt Eden prison inmates.
The police are also interviewing three other people, including a former Mt Eden Prison officer.
The six men and one woman who appeared in Auckland District Court this afternoon face more than 50 charges between them.
Many of the charges relate to manufacturing, possessing and supplying methamphetamine.
One of the charges is also for attempting to arrange for a man's legs and arms to be broken.
All seven have been granted name suppression until their next court appearances, set down for later this week and next month.
