A person has died following a motorcycle crash on State Highway 32 near Lake Taupō.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Tihoi around 10.20am on Saturday.
The Serious Crash Unit completed a scene examination and the road was now open.
The accident came just a couple of hours after three motorcyclists were killed in an accident involving a ute near Waiouru.
