One person is dead after a crash in Stratford this afternoon
The crash involving a ute and a truck and trailer occurred in Ngaere, Stratford about 4.10pm at the intersection of State Highway 3 and Cheal Road, police said.
The driver of one vehicle died at the scene while the driver of the second vehicle suffered moderate injuries.
Diversions remain in place and the accident is under investigation.
