Samoa's former minister of Broadcasting and Telecommunications who lost his parliamentary seat yesterday in an election petition ruling says he's considering taking legal action against the attorney general's office.
The former minister, Mulitalo Siafausa Vui, says a submission by assistant attorney general Daryl Clarke, cost him his seat.
Mr Clarke had told the court that a presentation of gifts the minister made at Vaimoso, a village outside his constituency did not constitute a traditional gift giving.
Mulitalo is the second ruling Human Rights Protection party MP to lose his seat as a result of bribery and treating allegations after this year's election in March
