A body found on an Auckland beach is believed to be a missing kayaker.
Police located a body in Beachlands on Saturday morning.
The kayaker went missing in the Firth of Thames on 5 November, prompting a week-long search.
His kayak and equipment were found a day later near Orere Point, dozens of kilometres away from where the body was found.
Police are still working to identify the body.
