A New Zealander has broken the world record for the most merino ewes shorn in eight hours. Lou Brown sheared 497 sheep at a farm in Western Australia, breaking the record set 16 years ago by his coach and mentor, Cartwright Terry. It's an achievement which has been compared to climbing Mount Everest by one of the judges. Lou Brown is on the line from Bunbury, south of Perth.
