Vanuatu's president, Baldwin Lonsdale, has queried parliament as to when the citizens of Vanuatu will start to receive quality services in the wake of Cyclone Donna.

President Lonsdale said expired medicine distributed to the worst-affected Torres islands had caused two deaths.

He also said food supplies were expired, and products being distributed had no labels or instructions.

In response the Head of State's speech, the National Disaster director, Shadrack Welegtabit, said enquiries were being made into the matter.
