German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Auckland next week ahead of the G20 meeting of world leaders in Australia.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper will also stop in for official talks and engagements on his way to the meeting.
After the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping will be here for three days in the first visit by a Chinese head of state since President Hu Jintao's visit in 2003.
