Assange moved within prison

13:00 pm on 11 December 2010

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been moved to a isolation unit of a prison in London.

His lawyer says Mr Assange, 39, was moved for his own safety from the main part of Wandsworth prison.

The ABC reports he is due to appear in court in London again on Tuesday after being arrested on a warrant issued by Sweden.

Prosecutors there want to speak to him about accusations of rape and sexual molestation made by two women.

WikiLeaks insists the allegations are politically motivated after the website published thousands of US diplomatic cables.
