McMillan and Hadlee join Canterbury coaching staff

The former Black Caps batsman Craig McMillan is to take up a role as a specialist batting coach with Canterbury cricket.

McMillan played 55 test matches and 197 one day games for New Zealand in an international career spanning eight years.

In his new role McMillan with work with both the men's and women's provincial side along with age grade teams.

Canterbury Cricket has also appointed former New Zealand fast bowler Dayle Hadlee as a specialist fast bowling coach.

Hadlee has previously been the head of the New Zealand Cricket Academy and head bowling coach for New Zealand Cricket.

He has recently returned from Dubai where he was head coach at the ICC Global Cricket Academy.
