The media manager for the All Blacks has admitted she was the one who cancelled coach Ian Foster's post-match press conference on Sunday, saying in a post on Linkedin she didn't want him to "just be a punching bag for the media".
Foster's future is in serious doubt after a run of four losses in five games, and the NZ Rugby board is meeting today to discuss the matter.
New Zealand Rugby have been reviewing the performance of Foster and the team, after chief executive Mark Robinson said the recent performances were "not acceptable".
Former NZ Rugby chief executive David Moffet, says the problems really start with Robinson, and the "mana of the All Blacks has been dismantled with every game they've played" of late.
