New Zealand is in a share of sixth in the clubhouse after the first day of the Women's World Team golf Championship in Adelaide.
They shot three-over par 147 for the two best counting scores with half the 54 nations still on the courses.
Dana Kim led with a one-over 73 while Cathryn Bristow shot a 74, and Natasha Krishna had the non-counting 77.
The leaders Sweden finizshed nine under on the Grange club's easier East course while New Zealand played on the tougher West course.
